LOVE BOAT

One more post couldn't hurt... plus this is a great story! The beginning of a story is always super duper interesting when it's a love story. Here is the beginning of Mylo and Me... (it's happy-sappy, so if this kind of stuff makes you sick, and you already ate lunch- hold on to it)...
So it all starts with a midnight phone call. (see, told you this is a good story!)
A midnight phone call from none other than my mother, letting me know that she had just finished doing my taxes for me (nice Mom!) and she was almost 100% positive I was getting a return of digits that would make me sing hallelujah! And so I decided to save half and spend half. And decided that my single mom friends and "sisters" I never had but wish I had, could use a vacation cruise! I hadn't seen the ocean in 7 years. It was time. I booked the tickets and before I knew it we were setting sail to the Bahamas... And that, ladies and gents, is where I met Pedro! Just kidding. :) So where was I... setting sail! First night, we got our rooms, ate, then Heather and I headed to the flirt floor to get our dance on. I ended up having an early night after all, thanks to some mixed fruity thing. At least I made it safely back to the cabin- (thank you Heather!.. and small band of sweet highschool boys that treated me like an old lady who lost her cane and memory.) The next morning (also known as afternoon) we went up to the top deck to relax, drink coffee, and take in the beautiful view! A guy walked up and asked to sit with us and introduced himself as Matt, and added that his single English friends (Myles, Cookie, and Dan)were on the cruise with him. (praise the Lord!) So the guys came over as well, we all shook hands and made room for more at the table. I was feeling a bit "rough," (as in: seeing and hearing were difficult tasks)and don't remember what we talked about, but was happy we were making friends with sexy accents and would be on an island soon where the ground wouldn't be rocking back and forth.
We all spent the day sun bathing, talked, laughed, had lunch, then headed back to the boat to get ready for dinner. That night we met up with the guys again for more conversation, laughs, and drinks... but due to the night before- only one beer for me! Fully sober, I was able to understand and participate in conversation, notice Mylo, Mylo's eyes, Mylo's smile.. and OOP!- He's smiling at me! He was right across from me and there was a moment he smiled and we caught eyes. It was the kind of moment when you feel like someone just opened a jar of butterflies in your belly. The kind of look that makes you look away for fear your facial expression may look like that of a child who just woke up on Christmas. The kind of moment when you know you're going to be in big, good ole fashioned trouble, if his heart is as beautiful as his face! We all walked around the boat for a bit, and then Mylo came up, held out his arm like a gentleman and asked if I would be his date for the evening. Arm in arm we went to the top deck that was fairly empty of people and noise. We talked, told stories, listened to the wind and waves, then like a fairytale, he gave me our first kiss under the Moon and stars overlooking the ocean. (Like that famous scene in the Movie Titanic, but way better because of the romantic stars and the fact that our ship wasn't sinking.) ;)
The next several days were reeeeeeeeeeeeally special and we all had so much fun together! I was bracing myself for the sad ending when we would return to the port and have to say goodbye. But Mylo wasn't ready to say goodbye either! Since that time he has bent over backwards making it possible for us to keep seeing each other states apart, meeting friends and starting to meet family- he met my boys too! We've been having a great time together. I'm making big changes in my life to be with this man and for him to be with me and the boys during our time together. I'm a busy bee...Lots of travel, and I'm training for a business I can run in both Tulsa and Orlando. We're setting up to move next week to a new house in Orlando, and keeping my apartment for our time here in Tulsa. ..A lot going on- and I couldn't be happier! Mylo is a handsome, kind, wonderful man with a really big heart! He is so loving and understanding. He took my breath away with his pursuit of my heart and has captured it completely! We grew up very differently from each other, we're from different countries, and have different life stories, but we share the same desires for life, love and happiness and together we have found it! The End ...of just the beginning! :)
